Quests were added to the game at the beginning of June 2022, after the 1M visits update. They allow players to do tasks to get Punches, and a special badge for completing all of them.

Overview

Click/tap on Floppa (the cat sitting on a throne) while in the lobby to access Quests. You need 250 Punches or more to select and do a Quest. When complete, you’ll be rewarded with an amount of Punches (varies based on Quest) and the Operator badge after your 10th.

(!) You must click/tap a Quest to select it before you do it. You may only have one Quest active at a time.

Missions

Below is a list of all the current quests, and how to complete them.

Buy an item from the shop

A very simple task. Go into the shop and choose an item you want to buy. The best option is Kick so that you don’t lose any Punches. You’ll gain 50.

Punch someone into the void

Another easy one, knock someone off the edge of the map and into the void. Since you’re likely doing your first quests before you get many Punches, use Coffee to chase someone into the void or Shift to trick them into falling. You’ll receive 75 Punches.

Find the Backrooms

This is the first quest only reliant on knowledge. Go into The Cave, then go to the top-left corner. Use first person or shiftlock to get perfectly into the corner, and you’ll fall down to complete the Quest. (You’ll also get a free badge.)

Kill someone with Boomerang

This one is self-explanatory. The quest only counts if you use Boomerang’s ability, not just punching, so get someone to low HP or near the void, then use your E to finish them off for an easy 200 Punches.

Blow someone up with Cake

One of the easiest quests, get Cake (if you don’t have it already) and simply fight with it normally. Eventually, you’ll land a successful hit with your cake and complete the quest for 300 Punches.

Go to the moon

Not a combat-focused quest, but a social-based one. Use Gravity, and find another Gravity user or convince someone else to use it. If you use your ability at the same time as them, you’ll both go flying up into space and gain 400 Punches. (This also gives a badge!)

Kill a boss

The first hard quest, killing a boss seems like a daunting task, but can be accomplished with some skill. Deflect is by far the best ability for this, as you can push everyone else away from the boss to deal all the damage yourself, while also being protected from their attacks. You’ll get 700 Punches, plus a badge and trophy.

Infect 5 people with Hivemind

This quest is one of the two major obstacles to getting Operator. Though it may be challenging to simply pick Hivemind and do the quest, remember that people want the badge and will likely join intentionally. As such, this quest is the ultimate challenge of communication. It pays out a rewarding 1K Punches.

Have your Robot kill 2 people

This one is the least challenging «hard» quest, but it still requires skill. Lure two people into a small space (Mystic Cave is ideal, though The Shop and The Cave work as well) and use your Robot to kill them. It’s best to play defensively, as your Robot will attack anyways. Make sure it gets the last hit, or it won’t count. Also make sure that you help the robot get the kill.

Get 300 streak with Devourer Of Souls

This quest is the apex of challenge. If you want Operator, you’ll have to EARN it by completing this challenge.

Reaching 300 souls is no joke, but it’s not totally impossible either. As a final test of skill, it’s definitely the most fitting. Read up the DOS page to learn ideal strategies, practice over and over to perfect your game, and focus hard. This quest is half a test of combat skill, half a test of perfect matchup knowledge, and completely the final step to going from a player to a pro. If you complete this, you’ll get an incredible 2500 Punches, and very likely, the Operator badge. You’ll also walk away with Combo, and probably Mystic, making it even more valuable.

(Remember that while farming friends for souls is not allowed, having someone with Portal or Mastered Alchemist is fine and can be a big help in multiple ways.)

Trivia

• The Missions update was the only major mechanic added in it’s update. With some small ones being visual effects for time reverse, and minor bug fixes.
  • «Missions» were later renamed to «Quests» as that was the more popular term.
• You can only equip one mission at a time, so make sure it’s the right one. Getting a 300 streak for no reward.. yowch.
• The easiest way to do these quests is to get on a smaller server, where you are at less risk of dying.
• All of the quests total up to 6625 punches.
• You need a minimum of 6000 punches to be able to complete all of the quests.
• If all ten quests are completed, the Operator badge will be awarded. Operator unlocks the Engineer and UFO abilities.
